GriefShare   - It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.  This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.  GriefShare meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements: video seminar, group support and personal reflection.  Grief Share is being offered Thursdays from 1-2:30p  starting S eptember 8 at Bayridge Alliance Church on 825 Gardiner's Road.  Tim D and Lorna L will be co- facilitators.  If you have any questions, please call the office at 613-384-7306 or email admin@gmail.com

Freedom Session is a healing-discipleship journey that uncovers the roots of pain in our lives and invites Jesus Christ to heal those areas of our hearts. Where do you go when life gets stressful, you want to escape conflict. Do you turn to other behaviours such as work, looking at your tablet, computer, TV. Do you turn to food, drugs or alcohol. How do you get unstuck from leaning on unhelpful behaviours? Freedom Session can show you how. It offers a video seminar, support group and personal reflection and is being offered in two places this year: evenings (TBD) at Bay Park Baptist starting at 6:30p or at Westside, Wednesday mornings during coffee break starting at 9:30am, September 14th. For more information, please email Julia Kooy (jmkooy@gmail.com) or Betty-Ann (admin@wfcrc.ca)
