The ABCs of Psalm 119
Psalm 119 is a masterfully constructed poem that uses the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet to create 22 stanzas to celebrate God’s word. This ABC psalm invites us to learn to read God’s Word and to do so diligently for the entirety of our lives. God’s Word is a lamp for our feet, a light to our path, sweeter than honey to our mouths, and full of peace-giving truths and life-preserving promises.
