Athletes in Action Soccer Camp

AIA trained university and college athletes help your child (ages 6-13) develop their fundamental skills. Each day includes exciting competitions, fun fitness, and amazing tournaments. Every camper gets the individual attention they need to grow as a whole person, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.

Meets the first full week of August, each year.

Circle of Friends

This group of people of varying ages and physical and mental abilities meets weekly to sing, hear stories from the Bible, offer prayers, and share a time of refreshments.

They meet every Monday at 7:00pm from September to May

Deacons' ministries

Our deacons keep us connected to the needs and opportunities for service in Kingston and beyond. They oversee our sponsored child (through Compassion International), our tuition assistance and benevolence funds, and annually discern the local, denominational and global causes toward which we give and pray.

Friends of Refugees

Through the work of a dedicated team of Westsiders and the help of World Renew, we have settled two refugee families in Canada. Click here for an article about our first family.

Loaves and Fishes

Loaves and Fishes is a growing project led by a farming couple in our congregation and a team of Westsiders. The money raised from the sale of crops from our Loaves and Fishes field is matched four-to-one by the Canadian Government and goes into World Renew’s account with Canada Foodgrains Bank to get food to food insecure people around the world and to support agricultural training of small holder farms in parts of Africa.

Vacation Bible School

Each July we offer a Vacation Bible School, an opportunity for younger children from Westside and beyond to learn and an opportunity for older children from Westside and beyond to develop leadership skills.
